PEACE Punta de Mita teachers have been busy creating and uploading K-12 classes to the online platform put together by Programmer and Information Technology Teacher, Ana Orozco for the delivery of English to the communities we so proudly serve.
At this point, teachers at PEACE not only upload classes to the virtual platform, they also evaluate completed class assignments submitted by K-12 English language learners in the form of video and audio recordings, photos, screenshots and other formats for activities that can require the involvement of family members.
The classes on the platform are all based on the revised curriculum teachers helped to design earlier this year. The curriculum is comprised of thematic units and details the language systems (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation) and language skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening) for each grade level. Teachers use the curriculum as a guide while designing their classes.
The PEACE Platform for online English language learning will continue to provide a safe and effective means of providing the communities of Emiliano Zapata, Higuera Blanca, and Coral del Risco with opportunities for learning and staying safe.
