Community Pride is a program that supports Punta de Mita, Higuera Blanca and Corral del Risco communities. The goal is to work with them via projects that can improve the community’s lives. The program focuses on taking care of the town’s image and culture using the implementation of workshops, conferences, and initiatives, always with the commitment that the community will work towards achieving its goal. By working together with the three communities, PEACE’s efforts benefit over 3,000 people.
Because of this mission, PEACE invited three members of each community to act as the bridge between PEACE and the community’s voice:
Silvia Garcia always has a commitment with the schools and the wider community of Punta de Mita. She has her own small business in Punta de Mita.
Isabel Gonzalez Cazares is always involved in community projects. Her ideas help to improve the image of the community. She runs a small bazar.
Claudia Judith López Gonzáles is one of the Leaders from Higuera Blanca. She is very committed to helping his own community.
