At a recent PEACE Punta de Mita Board of Directors meeting it was decided that PPM would maintain its practice of announcing its annual fundraising campaign in May; however, in view of not wanting to confuse the current active Humanitarian Relief Appeal, it was recognized that most activity for the 8th annual Pledge for PEACE Punta de Mita Campaign would happen in the final quarter – October through to the end of the calendar year.
As in the previous 7 campaigns, donors will be asked to consider a pledge at a giving level they feel appropriate:
- Patron – USD 20,000 & +
- Benefactor – USD 15,000
- Companion – USD 10,000
- Member – USD 5,000
- Associate – USD 2,500
- Friend – USD 1,000
Similar to past years, members of the PPM Board of Directors will personally make contact with other seasonal residents asking for their continued support of the PPM social programs, the majority of which are in the educational sector. The members of the PPM board-all volunteers-are: Ron Budacz, Chair; Peter Newton, Treasurer; and members Mariette Woestemeyer, Louise Temerty, Margaret Isberg, Bob Farquharson, Rob Ritchie, Roberto Santa Cruz, Ron Davis and J.P. Stone.
