Antonio Atayde
Specialist in social networks and visual communication
It is a pleasure to greet everyone. I am Antonio Atayde, a photographer, communication
specialist, and audiovisual designer. I am passionate about people's well-being, communication,
interdisciplinary work, and all forms of imagery. At PEACE, my role involves planning, creating,
and spreading messages that effectively communicate the organization's incredible work, while
refining and enhancing the image of the involved communities. It is fulfilling to contribute my
passions to such a noble cause: education and community well-being.
Discovering PEACE Punta de Mita was a delightful surprise. I immediately wanted to be part of it because a similar initiative gave me the chance to receive quality photography education. For someone in my circumstances, it seemed impossible. The knowledge and tools I acquired became the foundation for internationally-recognized work, despite not having traveled abroad yet.
Being part of PEACE allows me to give back. Programs like these empower me to enhance the lives, images, and communication of others. Your origin doesn't matter; what matters is what you can achieve with the right resources.
Although my time at PEACE Punta de Mita has been relatively short, I am confident that I can contribute to bringing about significant change. Strengthening the organization's image, effectively communicating its numerous achievements, and making it easily discoverable are my goals. I also aspire to establish it as an exemplary reference that can be replicated in other communities, nationally and internationally, in the medium to long term.
Eduviges Malacara
CAMPEONES JR and SUPERA-INGLÉS English Teacher
I am Eduviges Malacara Alvarado, fortunate to be an English teacher with PEACE's
Campeones Jr and SUPERA programs. I teach fifth- and sixth-grade children in Higuera Blanca,
as well as adults at the PEACE offices in Punta de Mita, Nayarit, Mexico.
Having a second language provides practical tools that create a tangible impact in your life. It allows you to secure better job opportunities and, consequently, a higher quality of life for yourself and your loved ones. The opportunity to share my knowledge of the English language and witness the transformative effect it has on people's lives fuels my commitment and passion for participating in PEACE activities. These programs empower families to grow in all areas.
In each class, I incorporate pedagogical tools that engage and foster my students' positive interest in learning. Through interactive exercises in books, notebooks, virtual platforms, games, and digital tools, we satisfy their thirst for knowledge of the language and encourage them to envision a better future for their life plans.
The best element of being part of PEACE is the opportunity to interact with diverse individuals and projects that complement each other, leading to a new vision of a better future for the community.
Undoubtedly, since I was selected to join the team, I have recognized that this is a gift of life. It strengthens me and instills confidence in myself and the dreams we can inspire in the hearts of the children and adults who come to the PEACE Association.

Paloma Bartz
CAMPEONES JR. English Teacher
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Paloma Bartz, and I am excited to be part of the
incredible team at PEACE Punta de Mita. I contribute as an EFL (English as a Foreign
Language) teacher for the Campeones Jr. program, where I teach English to fifth- and sixth-
graders from our community. Through engaging lessons, interactive activities, and a nurturing
classroom environment, I aim to empower them with the language skills they need to succeed in
a globalized world.
PEACE's commitment to activism, education, and community empowerment aligns perfectly with my values. My journey to becoming an EFL teacher began approximately six years ago when I lived and worked in Costa Rica. It was during that time, while tutoring local individuals in Liberia, that I discovered my true calling. Coming from Puerto Vallarta and having learned English from a young age, I felt compelled to share the gift of language and bridge cultural gaps.
Currently, I am on the verge of completing my degree in Education Sciences from Universidad America Latina. Additionally, I hold certifications in TQUK Level 5 by Ofqual and TEFL by the International TEFL Academy (ITA) which have equipped me with the necessary tools to create engaging and impactful learning experiences.
As an EFL teacher at PEACE, I am dedicated to empowering our Campeones Jr. with language skills, fostering a love for learning, promoting cultural understanding, and encouraging open dialogue within our community.
Together, let us continue to create positive change and make a lasting impact for our Campeones Jr.
With gratitude and dedication,
Ms. Paloma
