PEACE Punta de Mita Aligns with a number of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals

In 2015 the United Nations updated its Millennium Goals to define a set of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be shared by communities globally. In September 2019, The UN Secretary called on all sectors of society to mobilize for a decade of action on three levels: global action, local action and people action. SDGs, and they also provide an opportunity to intentionally incorporate SDG principles into future projects as well.
