As PEACE Punta de Mita celebrates the 2022–2025 Campeones graduating class, the organization reflects on broader educational achievements across all age groups within the community.
Program Participation
The Campeones secondary school program served 68 students over three years: 30 first-year students, 18 second-year, and 20 third-year participants. The cycle concluded with 20 graduates, of whom 15 will continue their education through Tec de Monterrey's Prepanet partnership.
Campeones Jr. operated in two locations, providing after-school English instruction to elementary students in grades 3–6. The program reached 67 students in Punta de Mita and 48 in Higuera Blanca, totaling 115 children receiving "immersive, after-school English instruction and a supportive classroom environment."
The adult-focused Keep Going! program serves students aged 16 and older, offering two weekly 2-hour sessions grounded in the Cambridge system to strengthen communication skills and professional growth.
Message of Impact
The organization emphasizes that "education as a long-term strategy for community transformation" drives their work. The post concludes by encouraging supporters that "investing in education" means investing in Punta de Mita's future and building a stronger community through expanded learning access.
