Growing Minds, Building Leaders, and Strengthening Hearts
PEACE Punta de Mita creates spaces where beneficiaries develop academically, emotionally, and socially through volleyball, leadership programs, mental health workshops, and evidence-based growth assessments using Positive Psychology frameworks.
At PEACE Punta de Mita, education transcends traditional classroom boundaries. The organization creates spaces where beneficiaries develop academically, emotionally, and socially through diverse programming supported by donors and dedicated staff.
Volleyball: Learning Discipline Through Movement
The Prepanet & PEACE Volleyball Club launched this month under Physical Education Tutor Juan Carlos's leadership. Beyond competitive sport, volleyball serves as a mechanism for cultivating discipline, respect, and teamwork. Carlos, a state-level player and University of Guadalajara graduate, emphasizes that "every serve and every rally is an opportunity to grow stronger in mind and spirit."
Leadership in Action: The Prepanet & PEACE Ambassadors Program
Under guidance from Executive Director José Antonio Salgado and tutors, student ambassadors are developing leadership through empathy and collaboration. These emerging leaders coordinate events, promote sustainability initiatives, and bring creative projects to campus life.
Fostering Awareness and Emotional Health
Psychologist Enrique Espino Soria conducted a community workshop on October 9 addressing digital awareness and mental health impacts, providing practical tools for mindful technology use.
Evaluating Growth Beyond Academics
Prepanet employs the internationally recognized HERO and PERMA models from Positive Psychology to assess student development. These frameworks measure hope, resilience, optimism, and overall well-being alongside traditional academic metrics, confirming that students develop emotional strength and purpose.
The combined initiatives demonstrate how philanthropic support enables comprehensive youth development focused on building resilient, compassionate future leaders in Punta de Mita.
