Meet Dafne: A Voice of Strength, Gratitude, and New Beginnings
At 15, Dafne Flores Cázares graduated from PEACE's Campeones program as Top Student of the Year, transforming into a confident leader determined to return to her community as a positive force for change.
At just 15 years old, Dafne Sinaí Flores Cázares is demonstrating the strength and purpose characteristic of an emerging leader. She graduated from the Campeones Generation 2022–2025 and earned recognition as Top Student of the Year for both her academic excellence and personal dedication.
Dafne hails from Higuera Blanca, a coastal community where she developed deep connections with family and neighbors. When educators from PEACE visited her middle school to present the Campeones program, she faced personal obstacles but chose to apply with parental encouragement. This decision proved pivotal.
The program provided comprehensive support that extended beyond academics. As she reflects, "Since joining Campeones, I've felt supported—not just academically, but emotionally and personally. I've learned to trust myself, to not give up, and to recognize the potential I didn't even know I had."
Over three years, Dafne transformed into a confident, compassionate student. Her passion for learning manifests in reading, writing, artistic pursuits, and supporting peers. She aspires to become a professional who contributes meaningfully to her community.
Regarding her educational priorities, she notes that "Studying is a way to create opportunities for both your present and your future. My goal is to return to my community and be a positive force for change."
Her Top Student award included a special prize: a three-day family retreat at Krystal Grand Vallarta. Dafne will continue her academic journey through Prepanet, approaching this new phase with determination and ambitious aspirations.
