PEACE Punta de Mita Welcomes the 2025–2026 Program Cycle

PEACE Punta de Mita launches its 2025–2026 educational program cycle with expanded enrollment, welcoming new students across multiple initiatives serving the Riviera Nayarit region.

Program Expansion Highlights

The organization welcomed 39 new students to the second cohort of Prepanet, a partnership with Tecnológico de Monterrey. This brings total enrollment to 60 students, with recruitment extended to communities including Emiliano Zapata, Corral del Risco, Higuera Blanca, La Cruz, Bucerías, and Sayulita. The organization aims to eventually serve 150 Prepanet students.

Education Initiatives

Campeones Jr. enrolled 68 elementary students (grades 3-6) from Emiliano Zapata and Corral del Risco, focusing on foundational English skills for beginner and lower-intermediate learners.

Campeones, serving middle school students, currently has 70 enrollees with registration closing in early October. The program offers instruction in English, Computer Science, Leadership, and Life Skills. Last year's data showed "90% of Campeones participants continued on to high school," with 75% selecting Prepanet.

Keep Going! continues serving 69 adult learners developing foundational English proficiency.

Overall Impact

Approximately 340 people of various ages now participate daily across all PEACE programs, representing substantial community engagement in educational and personal development opportunities.
