PEACE Punta de Mita has announced José Antonio Salgado as its new Executive Director. The organization notes that he brings "a spirit of leadership that aligns perfectly with our mission."
Salgado's background includes legal studies at UNAM, one of Mexico's most prestigious universities. His career has focused on education and community development, spanning work with Save the Children Federation in the Caribbean and leadership roles at respected Mexican educational institutions.
Most recently, Salgado served for 26 years as Middle and High School Principal at the American School of Puerto Vallarta, where he became known for his approachable leadership style and commitment to student development. His tenure there influenced generations of students, families, and educators throughout the region.
The organization expresses confidence that Salgado's educational expertise and "deep belief in the transformative power of education" will strengthen PEACE's community initiatives in Punta de Mita going forward.
