At PEACE Punta de Mita, growth takes many forms — a new skill, a spark of creativity, a moment of confidence, or the courage to imagine a different kind of future. This month, our Campeones students continued to embody that spirit through projects that blend community engagement, environmental awareness, and artistic expression.
Due to the huge success of the Trashion Show debuted at the Valentine’s Day Gala PEACE & Love 2025 — the flagship annual event for PEACE Punta de Mita, where our young designers and models captivated the audience and left a lasting impression — the initiative has now evolved into a full educational collaboration with Entre Amigos. A well-known organization based in San Pancho, Nayarit, Entre Amigos has long inspired communities across the region through its leadership in environmental education. Together, we launched Trashion, a creative project that turns sustainability into art by transforming recycled materials into clothing and accessories. For our Campeones, the project is more than a hands-on workshop — it is an opportunity to explore design, innovation, and the collective responsibility of caring for the place we call home.
As part of this growing collaboration, Entre Amigos is also providing specialized training on waste management and environmental stewardship, deepening students’ understanding of how individual choices can help shape a healthier community. This learning process is enriched by the guidance of volunteers and experts who have accompanied the program since last cycle, reinforcing teamwork and expanding the circle of support around our young leaders.
Each activity, each shared moment, reminds our students that their voices matter and that they have the ability to create change — not someday, but today. Through creativity, environmental responsibility, and a renewed sense of purpose, our Campeones continue to grow as thoughtful citizens, compassionate teammates, and leaders with heart.
