After 8 years, the Campeones program continues to bear fruit, with outstanding students who not only shine academically but also in their community and proudly represent the PEACE name. One such student is Karol Paloma Aguirre García, a former Campeones student and now a member of the Scholarship program at Bucerías College.
Karol was born on April 26, 2005, in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, and is proudly from the beautiful town of Punta de Mita, Nayarit, where she still resides. She lives with her mother, Silvia García, her father, Gerardo Aguirre, and her younger sister, Kamila Aguirre.
From a very young age, Karol showed a keen interest in business and opened her own business called "Kaseritas" selling homemade desserts, always aspiring to constant growth and learning. She demonstrated leadership, perseverance, and always gave her best in everything she did.
In her academic career, she has excelled in speech competitions, the national anthem choir, and sports, serving as captain of her school's soccer team, always demonstrating leadership, eloquence, and consistency in her high performance in all disciplines.
Her time at Campeones was brilliant, with her always positive attitude, cheerful, committed to herself and her surroundings, and identified by her warmth and desire to constantly improve as a person. With the entrepreneurial project and community projects, she showed great empathy with her community as well as her classmates, working as a team and building strong ties with them.
"My time at Campeones marked my life in an extraordinary way, in addition to helping me academically, its greatest influence on me was emotional. The impact that the program has on its students is reflected in their behavior as citizens. I started to be a better person when I knew that everything, I did not only represented me but also my community and PEACE, which worked so hard to shape me as a conscious and present person in my locality."
At the end of the course, she was the winner of the "Campeones" scholarship of 100%, joining the "Scholarship" program to study high school at Bucerías College, where she has met wonderful people to improve day by day and broaden her horizon towards the world and to learn from different mentalities, and has raised awareness among her classmates about the world's need for young people concerned about their environment, creating a volunteer group to continue promoting projects of PEACE and other organizations.
Currently, Karol is in her last semester of high school at Bucerías College, with very clear goals of graduating in Financial Administration, developing her own companies, and then having her own foundation to help future generations achieve their dreams. We are confident that she will achieve all her goals successfully, as she has done so far. At PEACE, we are very proud to have graduates like Karol who make a difference among the youth of our community, and we know that we will soon hear news of her progress!
