At PEACE Punta de Mita, we recognize the importance of a comprehensive education that promotes both physical and mental wellbeing. That is why we are proud to have successfully celebrated the third edition of our "Health Week".
For a full week, our CAMPEONES were privileged to engage with health experts who delivered valuable talks and workshops aimed at empowering both our students and their communities.
We covered a remarkable range of topics, from psychology to responsible sexuality. Each talk and workshop was designed to give our students the necessary tools to improve their lives and those around them. Additionally, we were privileged to welcome Dr. Sarah Watkins, Medical Director of the West Texas Regional Poison Center at Texas Tech University El Paso. She delivered a fascinating lecture on toxicology and the risks associated with drug use and addiction.
The highlight of the week was undoubtedly the exhilarating rally, where participants put the knowledge gained from the talks to the test in a series of thrilling challenges. With enthusiasm and camaraderie, our students formed teams and competed against each other, demonstrating not only their learning but also their spirit of teamwork.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the individuals and institutions who joined us during this special week. Your support and commitment are essential to the ongoing success of our mission to promote comprehensive education and the wellbeing of our community.
At PEACE Punta de Mita, we remain committed to our goal of cultivating not only bright minds but also healthy bodies and spirits. Until the next Health Week!
