As part of the organization of the return to school in the state, the Secretary of Education, through Secretary José Andrés Rodríguez, requested our support to carry out the Integral Awareness Day that took place on May 27 and 28 of this year at the Higuera Blanca high school campus.
The purpose of the workshop, in which the Secretary of Education, teachers and directors participated, was to train all personnel involved with the schools in our communities, so that teachers have the necessary skills to handle all situations related to the isolation time that students, mothers, fathers, teachers and principals had: dealing with grief for those who experienced losses due to the pandemic, how to handle the readjustment to the school routine, and situations arising from the emotional health of the entire educational community.
Once again, the State Secretary of Education, through the alliance that we have made over all these years, seeks to improve the teaching performance through the alternative and cutting-edge educational approach that characterizes our association and with which we enrich from any context the growth of teaching of our students.
On a regular basis, the SEP uses the last Friday of each month to hold a type of workshop called: SCHOOL TECHNICAL COUNCIL, a meeting in which all teachers from schools nationwide carry out planning and teacher training that involves all staff members. Supervisors and principals receive the information and then transmit it to the rest of the school staff. This way of working, familiar to all teachers, is intended to replicate the knowledge acquired during this important day and thus multiply the scope and results in the education community, not only in Punta de Mita but in other parts of the state.
