In recognition of his unparalleled track record and professional career along with great philanthropic vision, Carl Emberson was unanimously chosen by our PEACE students to be the Godfather of the 2020- 2023 PEACE CAMPEONES generation also known as “the Carl Emberson generation!” Through his big heart and unstoppable energy creating events, programs, and competitions supporting many non-profit organizations, this gentleman has earned our honor, respect, and appreciation. Carl is known for always looking for a way to help others, in this case, the youth and programs of our organization. For all these reasons, he is now affectionately called “El Padrino.”

From the moment we first met Carl Emberson, he gave us a ready smile, a kind word, and a positive “Let’s see what I can do;” never a “No” or “I can’t!” Originally from Fiji, he came here to give his best in the hospitality industry, falling in love like many of us with this beautiful, warm region. As the head of marketing and operations for Punta Mita, Carl has had many opportunities to have direct contact with people from all over the world and from any different backgrounds. His experience is evident in the way he works with our students and our communities, tirelessly working for the betterment of everyone.

Carl’s leadership and philanthropy have made many positive changes in our community—both inside and outside the gates of Punta Mita. His recent initiative “Mi Casa, Tu Causa,” which is supported by Fundación Dine Punta Mita and many residence owners, has already raised funds on behalf of the Campus de Mita project and the Punta Mita Hospital Foundation. The campus donations will help to continue the second phase of the construction of the Mita Campus, giving young people from our communities the opportunity to continue their high school studies. Educating our current and future generations enables individuals, families, and our communities to get ahead, and further sustainable development.

PEACE and its Campeones students are honored and delighted that Carl Emberson has agreed to be the godfather of this generation—the generation of progress and possibility, working to ensure the continuity and future of our organization.
