Around 70 people gathered, comprising community officials, members of the PEACE Board of Directors, students, residents of Punta Mita, parents and teachers. The occasion was graced with several inspiring speeches delivered to our cherished students, each representative bidding farewells and good luck to the Campeones. Furthermore, in the form of gratitude, some recognitions were granted to Mr. Carl Emberson, Mrs. Mariette Woestemeyer and to the DINE Foundation. Their unwavering support has been cherished not only by our students but also by our teachers and the whole administrative team.
Three full years, after their regular school hours, with hundreds of extra hours of high-performance classes, after doing their best and unconsciously competing for the prized scholarships awarded to the most outstanding students. Finally, the long-anticipated day of their graduation arrived, marking a momentous milestone in their journey. The highlight and emotional moment was when the scholarships bestowed by PEACE were awarded to the 2 most outstanding students of our institution (Jannexy and Denilson) Their achievements were meticulously evaluated by their teachers throughout the year, our esteemed Board of Directors during a ZOOM interview, and personally by myself, assessing their social impact, community service, human and social values. The decision was arduous, yet unequivocally fair.
In this context of celebrating scholarships, it is worth mentioning that the VAN DE VELDE Foundation also bestowed an additional scholarship upon one of our Campeones, (Oscar). Though he did not meet the specific criteria for the PEACE scholarship due to his two-year tenure in the Campeones Program (as opposed to the required three years), we firmly believe that he is unequivocally deserving of this opportunity. Apart from being one of our most outstanding students, Oscar possesses an array of other qualities, including exceptional social skills, making him an exemplary young person. It is with utmost pride that Oscar was awarded the "Resilience Scholarship."
The ceremonial proceedings were concluded, on behalf of the Mayor of Bahia de Banderas, by Miss Perla Villalvazo, who closed the ceremony with a great farewell message for Campeones . To finish, we had an unforgettable get-together with El Padrino and all the special guests of Campeones. We enjoyed delicious appetizers and refreshments sponsored by Punta Mita, and we are sincerely grateful for the generous assistance of Mr. Alfredo Boninn who was kind enough to help us with the preparations for the graduation.
Undoubtedly, none of this would have been possible without the support, time, and effort of all of you Community of Punta Mita, dedicated to PEACE Punta de Mita AC, and the supportive leadership of our Board Of Directors.
Now, we happily close this chapter, and we are ready to start a new one all over again! Not only with 40 students… now there will be 160 of them, including in our new programs of Campeones Jr. Supera English, Supera computing, Supera adult education and support for schools.
I express my gratitude to all of you and onces again I extend my sincere congratulations to C A M P E O N E S.
